As the understanding of ESR1 mutations (ESR1 m) continues to evolve, integrating molecular testing into clinical decision-making is becoming increasingly important in the management of HR+/HER2− metastatic breast cancer. This Promotional-Educational Webinar aims to provide practical insights into current evidence, testing approaches, and real-world considerations for implementing ESR1m testing in routine practice.

Meeting Objectives:

Review the evolving evidence on ESR1 mutation (ESR1m) in HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer management, including how molecular progression and resistance biology are relevant to disease management.
Discuss practical considerations for ESR1m testing in HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer, including key technical aspects of detection, pre-analytical and logistical factors, interpretation and reporting, and current challenges and solutions associated with ctDNA testing.
Optimize evidence-based approaches for integrating ESR1m serial monitoring into clinical practice in HR+/HER2− metastatic breast cancer, including appropriate timing of ctDNA monitoring tests, patient selection, and implementation of serial monitoring strategies.
